Hey everyone!

Thank you so much for the continuous support as I journeyed across America. A brief recap of my trip: I started on June 23rd in Seaside, Oregon. I biked 75-80 miles every day for 55 days, which brought me to New York City on August 15th. Along the way I endured rain, the Rocky Mountains, extreme heat in South Dakota, the cities of Madison and Chicago, the endless cornfields of Ontario, Canada, and the hills of New York. With lots of other states and stops in between.

I camped every night, until New York City where I stayed in a luxurious hotel. When camping the group and I were looking for two things, a patch of grass and water. As long as we had those two things we were happy! We liked to sleep next to grocery stores for the convenience of food. We also liked to meet locals who would typically offer their backyards to us. The best place we stayed was with a family in Dorchester, Ontario. They let us sleep in their backyard, make dinner in their house, and swim in their pool. They also gave me a gift card to Tim Horton's which I became obsessed with.

The entire experience was truly life changing. I have grown up a lot. I learned how to camp and fix a bike. I also learned how to push myself way past what I thought was my limit. Every day I had to get on my bike and bike to the next location. It didn't matter if I was tired or sore, I had to keep going. When things got tough, I cried, and then thought about all the kids I am helping, and proceeded biking. If it weren't for my goal of building a school with Pencils of Promise, I honestly don't know if I would have made it across America. Knowing that I was going to build a school kept me pushing through all the hard times.

Please visit my blog for more details on my trip! I will be entering some of my journal entries this upcoming week! Keep donating and passing my story onto friends. Check out the two videos above as well.

Thank you for your support. It was all my friends and families’ support that helped me overcome the Impossible.
